Restaurant is sweet, nice atmosphere, only staff (serving daughter with purple hair) could be a bit friendlier and more well-groomed appearance.

Totally rustic place

We have been here twice. Eaten the first time. Wasn't bad, but not recommended. Hoped for something better on the second visit - but when after 20 minutes still nobody wanted to serve, we stopped the exercise ... Rude, arrogant. They prefer not to have average guests here, but prefer 68er world improvers Never again!

Hospitality looks different. Service comes from serving and not from incompetent and arrogant! And this several times!

Homely cozy

We each had a fly in 2 portions of fries. And that in the lower part of the plate. That can happen and we gave it back nicely. The waiter says the flies are not from the kitchen but that there are just in the country. Nonstop came stupid remarks. The first time I have not tipped. It was an impudence !!!

Located in the Canton of Berne and literally lost between the mountains, this small hotel / restaurant is located within an agricultural / cattle farm. Absolutely traditional, with an excellent quality of food typical of that farm and with a wooden house, with the smell of fire and with a simple decoration that makes you suppose what that was. If someone goes by, they will not stop enjoying a meal or a dinner and if you want to do even better, spend a couple of days there. One can forget that there is noise outside of us. We only have our own!

We stopped here for lunch on a hike. Bratwurst and rather little rösti were fine. Reception and service rather unfriendly. On the next hike in the area we will continue with a growling stomach to another inn.

I love this place! Full of charm, authentic atmosphere and one of the best Roesti's in Switzerland. Hand made from perfect Emmental potatoes and cooked on a wood-fired stove. I've been coming here for over 10 years and it's an absolute treasure. Ask Patrick the chef if you can have a look at the old shop in the front room and his kitchen. It will be an experience to remember!

Great restaurant! Classic and excellent food! The quality does not disappoint and the prices are always correct. There is a small terrace very nice. DO NOT MISS!
